Nursery School
Based on the conviction that the family is the first educational institution in a child’s life an effort should be made for nursery school to resemble an extension of the family home. This makes the child’s integration and adaption to their new environment easier and allows them to make new friends and relate to their teachers in a naturally way.
Family-school contact should be an on-going habit with individualised daily monitoring of the child’s development. The initial processes of adaptation to new routines, feeding and personal development processes are controlled by seeking suitable progress and self-sufficiency.
Pupils start become familiar with English as this language will now be of utmost importance in their future lives on a daily basis. As their knowledge of their mother tongue becomes stronger, pupils will start simultaneously to become aware of, perceive and distinguish a new form of expression: English.
At this stage, we carry out most activities in the open air and ensure an extremely clean and safe environment, taking great care to acquire habits of personal hygiene, tidiness and independence. We strive at all times for the children to live in a happy, calm, safe and affectionate environment which will stimulate their overall development as people.
Los alumnos comienzan a familiarizarse con la lengua inglesa, constituyendo este idioma ya, en una función cotidiana y de la máxima relevancia en el futuro de sus vidas. Conforme se van afianzando en su lengua materna, los alumnos de forma paralela comienzan a conocer, percibir y diferenciar una nueva forma de expresión: el inglés.
En esta etapa la mayor parte de las actividades las trabajamos al aire libre, y cuidamos un ambiente extremadamente limpio y seguro, cuidando mucho la correcta adquisición de hábitos de higiene, orden y autonomía personal. Tratamos en todo momento que el niño viva en un ambiente feliz, sereno, seguro y afectuoso que estimule su desarrollo global como persona.
