Theatre in English
Traditionally, just before Christmas, at functions reserved exclusively for parents and relatives, the School puts on characteristic Christmas plays in English in the welcoming atmosphere of the “Alfredo Kraus” Auditorium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in afternoon-evening sessions, staged by pupils of the School.
Theatre is an extra-curricular activity which is much encouraged by the School because of its high educational content from the teaching point of view. Pupils work on diction, memorising scripts, and lose their stage fright in the rehearsals and staging of plays and naturally become used to speaking in public.
