The Colegio Hispano Inglés de Las Palmas is authorised and recognised by the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, as an International Examining Centre [CIE] of that institution.


The status of CIE was duly granted the School after meeting numerous requirements demanded by the university of English-speaking international schools abroad which have distinguished themselves by providing a certain level of teaching with proven efficiency and confirmed results.


With the CHI - Early English Learning System, CIPP - Cambridge International Primary Programme e IGCSE – International General Certificate of Secondary Education programmes, we carry out the regulation stages of that part of the curriculum in English for Infant and Primary Education and ESO. At the same time all pupils also take the following examinations in the Cambridge system: ESOL - English for Speakers of Other Languages, at KET, PET, FIRST and ADVANCED level.


Through its publishing houses, the University of Cambridge provides us with all the educational, technological and back-up material necessary for the complete running of the curriculum in the English language department of the School.
