Excursions and trips

An important supplement to the education received in the classroom are the numerous excursions and trips made throughout the course. They are always basically of an educational nature, but maintain the recreational aspect which a school outing has for pupils. The aim of all excursions is to strengthen the concepts explained in the classroom beforehand with direct experiences. Furthermore, in order to assure the correct assimilation of everything they have observed and attended during each visit, the kids follow up the trip with an individual or group task.

Outings, which take place throughout the year, include, among other things, visits to art museums, exhibitions, natural science and anthropology museums, science and technology museums, botanical gardens, technical and scientific research institutes, means of audiovisual communication, official bodies and factories. This kind of excursion outside the centre is one of the most anticipated experiences for our pupils, not only because of the break in their daily routine, but also because of how much they enjoy them, learning and experimenting in new and exciting surroundings for them.
