Summer School

Summer SchoolAfter the school year has finished, during July the Darwin and Britannia centres organise their traditional and entertaining summer courses, with a full lunch included, with the twin aim of providing an adequate service to families during this month and keeping children’s learning active and current. With their classmates and teachers, in the same surroundings as their teaching centre, with an extensive and varied programme of activities, excursions and different workshops, we create an excellent climate of hope, companionship and coexistence every summer.

The pupils at Darwin, the smallest, carry out all the Summer School activities, taking advantage of the magnificent features of the centre itself, although on occasions they move to Dickens House to share in an activity with their “bigger” companions, such as the swimming pool, performances by clowns, magicians and entertainment groups. For the pupils of Britannia House, on the other hand, taking advantage of their greater maturity, apart from the swimming pool at Dickens, they visit our Tafira centres, Humboldt Manor and Bandama Country, to carry out environmental activities in touch with nature, from which the children always return with clear signs of having had a wonderful time.
